OK, this applies to all cyclists, not just roadies. In the light of a recent accident on a West Suffolk Wheelers club run, one of the members recommended this wrist ID which can include your name, emergency contact numbers, blood group etc. Overkill? Maybe you didn’t make that drop off, high sided a berm into a tree, came off and were knocked out. How would the emergency services know who you are, who to contact etc etc? I know I am going to give some serious thought about it. At about £20 a throw it isn’t too expensive and might just help save your life. Alternatively, carry all the info they’d need in a pouch and carry it on every ride.
