Healthy Ice Cream for athletes!

My favourite ‘recipe’ which I need little urging to share with people. A firm favourite in this household it is the simplest idea on the planet and even the most inept ‘cook’ can make this with no problem at all.

Ingredients: any bananas that have gone past their prime. The darker the skins the better as this means the resulting ‘ice cream’ will be sweeter than if you were using yellow ones.

Method, take the skins off (yes some people do try this without taking the skins off which leads to a classic fail!

Wrap skinned bananas in tin foil. Put them in the freezer until frozen solid.

When you are ready to eat them, extract from freezer, take out of foil and eat as a normal banana.
